Bangladesh under-19 team lost by 80 runs against Pakistan in the fifth and final game of the ODI series at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi on Monday.

The hosts, who had already lost the series 3-1 ahead of the series finale, were bundled out for 164 runs in 36.3 overs after Pakistan posted 244 for eight, riding on two 75-plus-run partnerships.

In reply, Bangladesh kept losing wickets at regular intervals and, at one stage, were struggling on 38 for four inside nine overs.

Shihab James top-scored with 56 and stitched a 83-run stand with skipper Ahrar Amin, who added 53. Only three Bangladesh batters were able to hit double digits.

For Pakistan, Arafat Ahmed and Ali Asfand bagged three wickets each.

The visitors earlier had comprehensively clinched the lone four-day game by 10 wickets over the young Tigers.
