Like the first match, the second game of the three-match series between Bangladesh and hosts Sri Lanka was washed out at the P Sara Oval in Colombo yesterday.
Both teams shared points. This was the fourth ICC Women’s Championship game on the trot that the Tigresses saw getting washed out. Bangladesh’s final two ODIs on their tour of New Zealand in November last year also endured the same fate. However, it was learned that the organisers are planning to reschedule the second ODI on May 4, shifting the venue to the SSC ground instead of the P Sara Oval.
