Bangladesh were asked to bowl first by Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi as the hosts will look to avoid a first home-series whitewash since 2014.

Having had their proud home record unsettled by the plundering Afghans, Bangladesh would be up for the challenge to avoid a whitewash.

The visitors, though, had the luxury to rest premier leg-spinner Rashid Khan alongside young quick Mohammad Saleem.  Abdul Rahman and Zia-ur-Rehman replace them in the XI.

Bangladesh have made three changes to the XI that lost the second match by 142 runs. Apart from Ebadot Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, and Hasan Mahmud have also been rested. Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, and Taijul Islam make their way to the XI.

Bangladesh: Mohammad Naim, Litton Das(c), Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Taijul Islam

Afghanistan: Rahmanullah Gurbaz(w), Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi(c), Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Abdul Rahman, Zia-ur-Rehman
