Rain interrupted play for a third time in the first ODI of the three-match series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.
Afghanistan were in a solid position while chasing 164, with 83 on the board for the loss of two wickets.
Hashmatullah Shaidi’s troops still need 81 runs from 21.2 overs to win.
Opener Ibrahim Zadran was unbeaten on 41, while Shahidi was not out on nine.
