Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain delivered the goods in his very first over when he sent back Afghanistan opener Abdul Malik for 17 to leave the visitors two down for 24 after the completion of the seventh over in the first session of the second day of the only Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Extra bounce was at play again as Ebadot bowled a short one outside off-stump and Malik responded by going onto the backfoot to punch it but the right-handed batter could only manage an edge that just carried to Zakir Hasan at third slip.
