Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie won the toss and sent visitors Bangladesh to bat first in the first ODI of the three-match series in Chelmsford, England today.

Ireland captain Balbirnie said on winning the toss: “Will try to turn this into our home for this week, and have a good week.” Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal said they are going with three fast bowlers. “After the first ten overs, when it stops swinging, I think it will be a very good wicket,” he added.
