Napoli secured a 1-0 win over Fiorentina in Serie A on Sunday after league’s top scorer Victor Osimhen scored from the spot at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

It was the 47th Serie A goal for the 24-year-old, taking him past George Weah as top African scorer in the league’s history.

Napoli wrapped up their first league title in 33 years on Thursday when a 1-1 draw at Udinese put them out of reach of their rivals for the Scudetto.

Osimhen could have put a relaxed Napoli in front from the spot three minutes into the second half but Terracciano saved his weak shot after the penalty was awarded for Sofyan Amrabat’s foul on Stanislav Lobotka.
